Day School Daily Schedule

Drop off for our dayschool begins at 6AM each morning Monday thru Friday.

School begins promptly at 8AM and canines attend a variety of classes all day in our climate controlled school rooms. Parents are always welcome to drop in at any time to visit and to play. We offer two snack times during the day in order to keep the dogs' from getting hungry and grouchy. In addition we offer two nap times so they do not get over tired and grumpy with each other. Our three manners classes help them to integrate into the pack and learn the rules of good behavior in school.

We welcome all dogs five days a week but accept students as few as one day a week. Dogs who are guests in our sleepover center will, of course, attend dayschool each day that they are with us.

The Canine Sleepover Center

Our sleepover center has small dormitory style beds for our overnight guests to sleep on. In addition there are extra beds on the floor where some of our overnight guests are more comfortable.

When the school day ends the overnight guests go to the kitchen where their food is prepared for them according to the directions received from their "parents". Dogs with special dietary needs are fed separately from the rest of the dogs that eat in threes in the kitchen until everyone has eaten.

If medication is required to be administered for the evening it is done at this time at no additional charge. Following the evening meal dogs are free to play in the school room under close supervision of the staff until 9PM. All pick ups must be made prior to 6PM seven days a week. To ensure the safety of the staff and guests we do not open the doors to the outside from 6PM to 6AM even when staff is present in the building.  Prior to bed our guests "potty" for the last time and are tucked in for the night. 

Our building has fire extinguishers and a fire evacuation plan which includes evacuating all dogs to four different locations. In case of evacuation, dogs will remain in the safe locations and parents will be notified as to the new location of their canine based on required information provided on a tag on the collar of each animal staying with us.

Please note: We never charge extra for canines with special needs.  We welcome dogs with medication needs, including shots, dogs who are recovering from surgery, puppies as young as four months, and aging or infirm dogs.
